Description
Bordón d'Anglade is a tribute to the founder of Bodegas Franco-Spanish, Barón Frederick d'Anglade. This wine is only elaborated in the rated vintages as very good or excellent by the Rioja Regulatory Council.
Elaboration:
Bordón d'Anglade It is elaborated With grapes 80% Tempranillo, 15% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo (Cariñena) from the different subzones of Rioja and the different types of soil of each area. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine carries out the malolactic fermentation in French oak bordelesa barrel to preserve its varietal aromas. Subsequently, it remains in French oak barrels for 18 months with transview every 4 months to facilitate natural clarification. Finally he remained in the bottle at least 2 more years.
Tasting note:
Harmonious, round and very attractive cherry wine, Garnet edge. It emphasizes its aromas of confi fit of red fruits, balsamic, cocoa, chocolate and coffee touches. Elegant and balanced in its passage by mouth with a long, velvety and tasty finish.
