Made with 95% Tempranillo and 5% Merlot grape varieties from over 45 years old vineyards from the municipality of La Aguilera. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, making a combined use of new and second-year barrels.
Dark cherry red coloured, well covered, maintaining violet tones on the edging. On the nose it is complex, highlighting the black fruit and the floral, balsamic and scrub notes. It strongly evokes the typicity of the area through its floral notes and vibrant acidity, the result of the altitude at which these ancient vineyards are located between the mountains of the Castilian plateau.
It is a genuine and complex wine.
