Bodegas Herederos del Marqués de Riscal elaborates this vegan extra-old red wine in the D.O.C. Rioja (España) with tempranillo grapes.
In the elaboration of the Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva, Riscal employs grapes from old vineyards of more than 80 years, from own productions or acquired by viticulturists Fixed premises. Once the wine is selected to elaborate the large reserve after the unification of the harvest, this happens to French oak barrel, where it will remain between two and a half years and three years (32 months), plus three three Years in bottle before its marketing.
Intense red pillow, with violet irises. In the nose expresses a complex aromatic intesidad, balsamic, in perfect balance between fruit aromas and the torrefacts of light toasted reminiscent of fine woods. In the palate is unctuous, in harmony with the fruit, with good tanic concentration, round and with a persistent finish.
This wine domestic well with ham, cheeses cured, meats Rojas, all kinds of roasts and hunting stews.
