The first vintage of Matarromera Crianza, 1994, won the title of Best Wine in the World in an international competition of the International Wine Organization of Spain (OIVE). Since then, this 100% Tempranillo has been one of the hallmarks of Bodega Matarromera, located in Valbuena de Duero, and a classic of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin.
It rests in selected French and American oak barrels, with fine grain and soft toasted, to fully respect the expression of the fruit. After aging, this Matarromera wine goes to the bottle where it completes its refining until it is ready to be tasted.
Aromas of ripe black fruit and mild spices of rosemary and cloves. In the mouth it is intense, tasty and very, very long-lasting. Persistence and balance.
In addition to cheese and Iberian ham, we offer any type of meat, both white and red. But it is also perfect for pasta or rice dishes. The key is to enjoy each drink.
