About R. Lopez de Heredia Viña Tondonia
In R. López de Heredia, the winemaking process is a family heritage that is passed down from generation to generation.
Viña Tondonia is a beautiful vineyard of more than 100 hectares, located on the right bank of the Ebro River, where the most common Riojan vinifera are grown. This vineyard was planted by Don Rafael López de Heredia y Landeta between 1913-1914, where the most famous wine of the winery is called.
Special mention should be made of the white wines from Viña Tondonia, since if there is a house with experience in old white wines, it is López de Heredia. This house has not had any prejudice to age the wine in oak for as long as the reds, producing the most successful wines both inside and outside the Spanish borders.
