On the banks of the Vero River are located the vineyards of Bodegas Viñas del Vero, located in the Somontano appellation of origin. These vineyards were planted between 1992 and 2001 and are located at an altitude above sea level between 375 and 525 meters. The grape varieties used to make Viñas del Vero Roble are cabernet sauvignon and merlot which, after finding the perfect degree of ripeness for harvesting, are refrigerated at low temperature and fermented for three days. Afterwards, the blending of both wines begins and they are introduced into American oak barrels for aging for four months.
To the eye it shows an attractive violet line. The nose stands out for its balance and its quick expression of black fruits and vanilla. On the palate it is soft and round. A very versatile wine that can be used for a multitude of moments and celebrations. It pairs wonderfully with meats, starters and light dishes. We recommend serving at 13 to 15 degrees.
