The red wine If the Lacrima Baccus is a mixture of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Syrah that are harvested and fermented separately . After the alcoholic fermentation, the bad lactic fermentation is made an additional transfer, the mixture, the clarification, the tartaric stabilization and the final filtrate before bottling.
Color: Bright and intense cherry red with violet tones.
Nose: intensely fruity with notes of berries such as blackberries and red currants, floral spokes of violets and a licorice end.

This is a very versatile wine that accompanies well the most consistent dishes (meat, strong cheese, etc.) but when it is served slightly cold, it is perfect with light dishes such as salmon, fish and rice, pasta, etc.
Lacrima Baccus is a recognition of the ancestors of Caves Lavernoya, who already in 1890 began the production and aging of wines and cavas. Today, they continue to produce quality wines, with ethical responsibility and applying ecology, always working as a team and improving day by day.
Their estate has 20 hectares of their own vineyards where native grape varieties such as Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Garnacha are grown, as well as international varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. They work in two different appellations of origin: DO Cava and DO Penedés.
