This wine has been elaborated with grapes of the varieties Tempranillo (90%) and Graciano (10%), from the old vineyard cultivated on the farm of Torrea, where the facilities of the wineries of Marqués de Riscal are currently located. Performs the fermentation in small capacity Allier tubs, at a temperature that does not exceed 25ºC with the intention of preserving the fruity characters. The extraction is carried out with soft top and a short maceration, with the aim of maintaining the fineness, elegance and freshness necessary to have a pleasant and persistent mouth step. After performing the malolactic fermentation, the wine remains in Allier French oak barrels for 18 months, and after a short period of tuning in bottle, the wine goes to the market.
Color cherry very intense, of great vivacity. High olfactory intensity with red and black fruit notes, freshly ripe, compensated with aging balsamic notes in French oak barrels. Explosive fruit fruit.
This wine harmonizes well with all kinds of meat: roasted, stewed with mushrooms, spicy ... perfectly accompanies the chicken of corral And to the stewed poulder. Also domestic with powerful fish with intense sauces in flavor and aroma such as the kissing to the Donostiarra or the cod to Rioja. Ideal to also take with bluefin tuna.
Serve a temprature between 16º and 18ºC.
