Grapes 92% Tempranillo and 8% Mazuelo (Cariñena) from more than 25 years old selected vineyards in the subzone of Rioja Alta and Alavesa give way to this magnificent LAN Reserve. The wine ages for 18 months in mixed French and American oak barrels. LAN Bodegas is a pioneer in the use of mixed barrels, which combine teaves of American oak, which provide the elegance of vanilla, and French oak, which provides spicy touches. LAN Reserva remained 20 months in the bottle, to complete its tuning.
Bright ripe dark cherry color. Intense and aromatically complex. Aromas of ripe red fruit wrapped with white flowers, almond flower and broom. Tops of cinnamon and balsamic. Velvety entrance, delicate and soft. Elegant, balanced and harmonious mouth. Long aftertaste leaving a pleasant memory that invites us to continue enjoying it.
