Description
Hacienda Monasterio has been making its place among the great wines of the Ribera del Duero. The winemaker who created Pingus, Peter Sisseck, is also the father of this new vintage. This red wine is the result of years of hard work, investing in ecological vineyards and made from red wines of different grape varieties: 80% tempranillo, 10% merlot, and 10% cabernet sauvignon. Hacienda Monasterio spends 20 months in French oak barrels.
For the 2021 vintage, 237,200 bottles have been produced.
Tasting notes:
In view it is intense, its ruby color attracts. On the nose it stands out for its aromas of black fruits and licorice to give way to the barrel. In the mouth it conveys that aromatic balance with well-integrated acid points, ripe fruit.
