Zacapa Royal Rum 70 cl.

Ron Zacapa Royal is the most Premium proposal of the Master Blender by Zacapa, Lorena Vasquez. Being one of the few women in occupying such an important charge in the distillery, he wanted to innovate in the production of this Ron Añejo. Like all Zacapa, he uses the Jerezano solery method but his distinctive character contributed by the specially selected barrels of French oak from Le Bois du Roy (Forest of the Kings). These forests were especially protected by the King of France that in 1820 ruled that only his wood could be used with his permission. Now they only produce a very small number of barrels dedicated to premium products. The result is a very complex rum, both nose and palate, with touches of vanilla, chocolate, wood and roasted fruits.
