Description

The vineyard of the grapes of Verdejo used in the processing of Castelo de Medina fermented in Barrel is located in the town of Villaverde de Medina and has an age Average close at age 30. The fermentation of this wine is developed in French oak barrels of 225 liters for later, perform a job of "battonage" in those same barrels for about 6 months. Finally, the wine has a bottle aging of at least 6 months. This fermentation in barrel provides unctuousness and complexity to the green variety, fruit of the perfect balance created between this variety of grapes and the elegance of the barrels of French oak in which it is Breed.

Tasting note:

Aromas of vanilla, new wood, sliced ??grass, hay, fennel and nesting. On the palate is fat, with great body, balanced and with a long aftertaste that rounds the great structure of this wine.
