Used grape varieties for this young white wine are Xarel·lo, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, each variety is harvested and ferment separately. The grapes are jeopardized, cooled, pressed, alcoholic fermentation in stainless tanks. Transceje After alcoholic fermentation, mixing the wines of the different varieties to search the perfect sackage, clarification, tartaric stabilization before bottling.
Color: clean and bright, pale yellow with greenish reflections.
Nose: Intensely fruity, with white flower notes and a nice touch of citrus (grapefruit) very long and elegant . It stands out for its "STRONG> style.
Boca: Silky and intense on the palate with a living acidity of fruits and a vegetative note of spicy fennel, well structured, soft and refreshing.
Lacrima Baccus is a recognition of the ancestors of Caves Lavernoya, who already in 1890 began the production and aging of wines and cavas. Today, they continue to produce quality wines, with ethical responsibility and applying ecology, always working as a team and improving day by day.
Their estate has 20 hectares of their own vineyards where native grape varieties such as Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Garnacha are grown, as well as international varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. They work in two different appellations of origin: DO Cava and DO Penedés.
