O Luar do Sil Godello Fermentado en Barrica 2016 75 cl.Bodega Pago de los Capellanes
Fermentation in barrels of 500 liters of oak and acacia wood, and at controlled temperature. The wine remains on its lees for 6 months in these containers and with removing weekly newspaper, achieving a taste sensation of greater body and power. It ends with a crianza in bottle at least 18 months.
is a greenish gold wine, with abundant formation of tears. It shows aromas of good intensity and own of the good evolution of a godello, where the dry peach (Orejón) stands out, with notes to pastry contributed by the lees, yellow flowers, balsamic vegetables and clear mineral character. Vibrant and powerful mouth, with clear mineral character to blackboard, balanced, together with elegant roasted tones and oriental woods, has a great length, and ends in an explosion of subtle aromas.

The Rodero Villa Family heads two projects, from two territories with two native grape varieties.
The star of Pago de los Capellanes in Ribera del Duero is the Tempranillo grape (or Tinta Fina as they call it there). Its extreme climate of great contrasts, calcareous soils and good field work make it possible to produce wines with elegance, based on the traditional viticulture of the area.
In Valdeorras, in O Luar Do Sil, the godello grape reigns, elaborated in three different styles that seek to accentuate varied nuances in terms of structure and potential.
