Azpilicueta White Private Collection 2019 is one of the most awarded white wines of the Azpilicueta winery, located in D.O.C. Rioja.
For its elaboration, the musts of the grape variety Viura ferment in American oak barrel with a toasting prolong and mild. After this process, part of the wine makes the malolactic fermentation in barrel. After the result of several wines are assembled to result in this spectacular azpilicate white collection.Tasting note:Of pale and straw. On the nose shows complexity where citrus, white fruit, pastries and toasted stand out. Already in the mouth, you discover its creaminess, with a long end.Service temperature: between 9 and 12ºC.
Bodegas Azpilicueta is one of the traditional wineries of Bodegas AGE, with more than 800 Ha of vineyards in Fuenmayor with an irregular topography and orientation that result in various microclimates.
All Azpilicueta wines are an assembly dominated by the Tempranillo grape, giving them its typicity; with a lower percentage of Graciano, contributing with its particular aromas and structure to make it a wine for aging, and Mazuelo (Cariñena), contributing its acidity, its freshness on the palate.
In 2011, it was the first Spanish winery to certify its Carbon Footprint by AENOR in accordance with the ISO 14064 standard.
