Castelo de Medina Sauvignon Blanc 2021 75 cl.
Bodegas Castelo de MedinaBodegas Castelo de Medina elaborates this young white wine in the D.O. Rueda (Spain).
Description
The vineyard where the grape used to make this Castelo de Medina Sauvignon Blanc comes from Villaverde de Medina. How could it be otherwise, the variety used is sauvignon blanc and its vineyards have an average age of 25 years. This white wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature, after cold maceration. Then it stops for a 2-month bottle aging. The 2020 vintage has been awarded in the International Wine & Spirits Competition of 2021 with the bronze medal, the same award for the International Wine Challenge of 2021 . The Sobreelías 2021 Guide gives it a 91+ and the Wine Up! 2021 a 90.46.
Tasting note: in the glass it is clean, with an aroma of tropical fruits where banana and pineapple stand out. On the palate it is pleasant, fresh and silky. We recommend serving between 6ºC and 8ºC.
