Vineyard:
The grapes come from some of the first sauvignon blanc vineyards planted in Rueda more than 40 years ago. The soil, mainly composed of pebbles and poor in organic matter, has limestone outcrops at the top.
Winemaking:
After a careful grape selection and cold maceration, the wine is fermented and aged on its own lees for 4 months in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting notes:
Straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. This wine has a very intense aromas with mineral (stone) and herbaceous notes characteristic of Sauvignon Blanc. With hints of citrus, especially grapefruit. In the mouth it has volume, which makes it a complex and elegant wine.
Food pairing:
Ideal with shell seafood - mussels, cockles, clams, oysters, etc. - and cooked seafood - prawns, king prawns, shrimps, crab, crayfish, crab, etc. It also goes well with all kinds of fish, fresh cheeses and cold meats.
