The project was born in 1987 by Gonzalo Antón who, together with friends and businessmen from Vitoria, created this innovative winery in the heart of Rioja Alavesa.

Izadi means nature. For this reason, the winery, located in Villanueva de Álava, in Rioja Alavesa, seeks to fully respect the fruit that this natural environment provides, integrating innovation and tradition in a unique building. The winery has 178 hectares of vineyards, on microplots that are located in the triangle made up of the towns of Villabuena, Samaniego and Ábalos.

Bodegas Izadi is part of the Artevino Group together with Finca Villacreces, Vetus and Orben.
