Elaboration:
Carthage Nace of the well, a privileged place located in Villaester and planted with Old bull ink vines of more than 45 years. A small teso is selected for Cartago at the highest level, from 700 meters of altitude. After maceration and fermentation with autochthonous yeasts, the wine is aged 30 months in new and used French oak barrels.
Tasting note:
< Strong> Very fine and complex. It is mature, powerful and concentrated, with good tannins and an agreed touch. With fruity black cherry notes and fresh red fruits, accompanied by spices and woody notes.

About San Román Viñedos y Bodegas
San Román Bodegas y Viñedos is the second winery of Mariano García and his family in the Duero Valley, started after Bodegas Mauro (1980), and continued by Garmón Continental (his exclusive new project in Ribera del Duero).
San Román reaches an extension of 140 hectares of ecological vineyards, in conversion to biodynamic viticulture, with the aim of increasing organic matter and favoring biodiversity in the soil.
