Grapes 100% Tempranillo and some loose strains of white varieties (Malvasia and Garnacha) from 2 vineyards from 13 ha located in Villalba de Rioja, at 650m altitude and planted in 1942 and 2005. Preferred maceration with carbonic snow. Despage, with daily comeback combined with Dellessage and Bazukees. Fermentation in wooden tino at controlled temperature (28ºC). Malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aging of 20 months in barrel single-use French oak.
View: Ruby red, medium-high layer. Clean, bright and with tears.
Nose: Aromatic intensity Media. Clean and frank. Aromas of ripe red fruit, nuts, floral and balsamic nuances that are combined with the Aromas of the aging: bakery, cookies, spices, white chocolate and liquor chocolate.
Boca: Intense , with good acidity, balanced alcohol and round tannins. In Retronasal, the aromas of the nose return: red fruit, balsamic and aging.
Perfect to accompany with veal, smoked, soft cheeses and international food.
