Dewar's Japanese Smooth is an 8 year old double-aged Scotch whisky that has been finished in Mizunara Japanese oak casks for six months.

The resulting whisky features subtle floral notes of honey and heather along with complex aromas of sandalwood on the nose, followed by cinnamon spice on the palate, a result of the porous qualities of the rare 200 year old Mizunara oak variety, also known as "water oak".
Dewar's Blended Scotch is the most awarded Blended Scotch Whisky house in history.

About John Dewar & Sons
Dewar's, founded in 1846 by John Dewar and preceded by his sons, has always known how to look beyond the obvious. This curious spirit led its founders to discover an innovative production process based on double aging, which achieves an extraordinary smoothness in whiskeys from Dewar's house. Today Dewar's maintains this curious spirit from the hand of Stepanie McLeod, awarded as the best master blender in the world.
