Description
Elaboration:
This farm wine is made with grapes 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, a coupage of the Bordele Varieties par excellence, with a aging for a minimum of 12 months in barrels of French and American oak of 225 liters. Bottling back with a minimum stay of 2 years in a cellar.
Tasting note:
stands out for your pepper notes, ripe red fruit and toasted and spicy notes from your aging in barrel. On the palate is pure vivacity; of medium-high body with present tannic concentration that confers corpulence. The tannins are vivacious, conferring a freshness and linearity to wine.
Pairing:
Good companion of dishes with hunting meat, such as deer or boar. Service temperature: between 16 and 18ºC.
From the French port of Le Havre, Jean Leon embarked as a Polizón heading to the US. It did not take long to be discovered by a sailor who in an act of generosity decided to cover up his presence. Vinya Le Havre is a tribute to the unknown sailor who would change his life forever.
