Forty of the Vega Sicilia winery's hectares are used to produce Unico, with grape varieties 95% Tinto Fino and 5% Cabernet-Sauvignon, whose aging, with a minimum of 10 years between wood and bottle, is among the longest in the world. French and American oak, new and used 225-liter barrels and 20,000-liter vats. A long and complex process that makes these wines great when they come to market, and timeless when they age.

About the vintage:

2012 is a concentrated, succulent, silky and precise vintage. It is an expression that can be enjoyed immediately, though with time, it will be incredible. Every year, Único Mágnum surprises us with a new work of art on its label. In the case of the 2012 vintage, it is a fragment of the 1985 painting "Metamorphosis" by Antonio Saura.

CONSERVATION AND PREFERENTIAL CONSUMPTION:

This wine is suitable for drinking at present, but has a cellaring potential of 40 - 60 years if kept in optimal conditions: 12-14 ºC and 60% relative humidity.

Best consumed at 18 ºC.
