Plantation Grande Réserve is a blend of rums from Barbados matured in bourbon barrels in the heart of the Caribbean. Fermentation takes place from molasses for three days and then in column stills and continuously distilled. In their next step, the bourbon barrels are used to age the rum for one to three years. Like most Plantation rums, this one ends up traveling to the south-west of France to finish aging for a year. Plantation Grande Réserve ends up being a complex and round rum.
