Plantation Ron Isle of Fiji is a great tribute to the island of the infinite jungle. This spectacular rum is made from traditional techniques with sugar cane native to the Island of Fiji. At the RUM Co. of Fiji Distillery it ferments between four or five days and is distilled in pot stills and in columns stills to later be aged in bourbon barrels for two or three years in a tropical climate. Then the rum travels to the southwest of France to be matured in French oak barrels. An explosive blend that gives rum a very special touch of exotic fruits. Golden in color, on the nose it is intense with various hints of fruit, smoked and molasses. In the mouth it is rich and round, with flavors of vanilla and honey. The finish is spicy where the bourbon barrel is present.
