Description

Papa Isio remains one of the most mythical figures of the island of Negros. Even today a ceremony is held in his honour during the annual harvest, he worked the land and was close to his people, flora and fauna.

Today, inspired by this local hero, Don Papa has created a rum infused with honey, calamansi -a type of Philippine orange- and siling labuyo, a local Filipino chilli pepper.

Don Papa Masskara is a beautiful combination of sweetness and acidity, offering a surprisingly spicy finish like the famous Masskara Festival, held every October on the island of Negros.
