Grapes arrive from small plots of Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa to make Marqués de Cáceres Crianza. With a large number of Tempranillo grape varieties and other small ones. Garnacha and Graciano. This red wine is produced after a manual harvest and vinification that goes through stainless steel tanks and at a controlled temperature. The malolactic fermentation takes place in new barrels and in stainless steel tanks depending on where the grapes come from. Once finished, they are left to rest in barrels and are racked every six months. These barrels are special, 25% are new oak, another 25% with two wines passing and the other 50% where up to four wines have passed. Finally, it spends a year in the bottle rack until it is marketed.
Notes of toasted wood with red fruit. Ripe fruit makes an appearance in the mouth along with fine tannins. The finish is silky. We recommend serving at 16ºC.
