Amaya Arzuaga is the famous fashion designer and entrepreneur to whom this iconic Red Reserva wine is dedicated. For each vintage, the label of the bottle sports one of her ingenious and spectacular outfits, as for this Collection 2015. The tempranillo (95%) and albillo (5%) grape varieties used to make this red wine are extracted from different soils and centenary vineyards of the Ribera del Duero, which gives it an unusual complexity. The grapes were carefully selected in the vineyards and in the cellar, where they were carefully placed in a French oak vat with a capacity of 5,800 litres. After a light treading before fermentation, the wine is transferred after 18 days into fifteen new French oak barrels of different origins. It spends almost two years in barrels before being bottled and marketed at the right time.
Tasting notes: Intense and bright cherry red colour. On the nose it is complex where the first impression of red and black fruit passes to spicy and caramelised tones. On the palate it is unctuous, with an elegant and persistent passage that comes from the olfactory phase.
