Matusalem Gran Reserva 23 Solera is the most premium rum in the Matusalem range. Matusalem's main contribution to the history of the rums was the adoption of the Method sole to aggravate the rum. In 1872 the first Matusalem is elaborated under the premise of creating the softer rum ever tested. Its creators, with experience in the preparation of Brandys and Cognacs, implemented this novel method for the RONES. This rum stands out for its impressive softness that together with honey and vanilla produce that it has a long and spicy end. Winner of Seven Awards, Matusalem Gran Reserva 23 Solera has recently added the silver to the best extra vintage rum in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition of 2020.
